Goldline Pro Logic and AQL-CHEM Sensing Kit2
When used with the Goldline Pro Logic and AQL-CHEM sensing kit, the AQLCHEM2 CO2 dispensing kit solves the problem of how to provide low cost pH control for backyard pools without having to handle acid. The AQL-CHEM2 is designed to install on a standard CO2 tank and wire directly to the Pro Logic control. Using the AQL-CHEM sensing kit, the Pro Logic pool control will sense the pH level and if needed, the AQL-CHEM2 will introduce CO2 to the pool water. CO2 is mildly acidic when dissolved in water and will lower the pool's pH slowly without the safety or health concerns normally associated with harsher acids. pH DISPENSE Part # AQLCHEM2- Total Pool ChemistryThis professional-grade pH dispense technology was previously only available for commercial pools. Goldline Controls now offers an economical approach, with the same level of accuracy, for residential in-ground pools. How it Works
Sense and Dispense, Total Pool Chemistry technology consists of two chemistry kits. The first kit senses pH and ORP levels and dispenses a self-renewing supply of pure chlorine generated from salt. The second kit lowers pH by using CO2, which has been shown to be particularly effective on salt chlorinated pools where the pH tends to drift up. By using CO2, pool owners are able to reduce the pH to recommended levels by forming H2CO3 (carbonic acid), a safe acid that does not require handling. Both chemistry kits are used for controls and chlorinators. Additionally, the technology can support commercially available Peristaltic Acid pumps preferred by some pool professionals for the management of pH (This approach does not require the second kit to manage pH).
