PB Pools recognizes that the growth of online services has
created additional privacy concerns, particularly for consumers. Online privacy concerns
focus on the protection of "customer identifiable" information which an individual or other
customer reasonably expects to be kept private.While browsing this website, we do not collect any personally identifiable information
from you. We employ cookies (when you have enabled them),
to enhance your online experience with us, and for no other reason. Cookies are set to expire at the end of your session.
As the term suggests, "customer identifiable" information is information which can be
associated with a specific individual or entity, including, for example, a customers name,
address, or telephone number, e-mail address, and information about online activities that
are directly linked to them. It is common practice and often a necessity for companies,
governments, or other organizations to collect customer identifiable information in order to
conduct business and offer services. For example, our company might collect name, address,
e-mail, and telephone information in order to find a dealer close to your location. PB Pools
established the following Online Privacy Policy to protect customer identifiable information.
This policy covers PB Pools and applies to all customer identifiable information that PB Pools
obtains when a customer registers for or uses our online dealer locator or quote generation
service.
PB Pools protects online customer information as follows:
- Disclosure: PB Pools will not sell, trade, or disclose to third parties other than the customers appropriate local dealer
any customer identifiable information derived from the registration or use of the dealer
locator or quote service -- including customer names and addresses -- without the consent
of the customer (except as required by subpoena, search warrant, or other legal process or
in the case of imminent physical harm to the customer or others). When PB Pools uses other
agents, contractors or companies to perform services on its behalf, PB Pools will ensure
that the company protects your customer identifiable information consistent with this Policy.
- Collection and Use: PB Pools will collect and use customer identifiable information for
locating the appropriate Pinnacle pool dealer, to generate a quote for Do-it-yourself kit
pricing, or to create and inform you of products and services that better meet your needs.
This means that PB Pools may use your customer identifiable information, in conjunction
with information available from other sources, to market new services that we think will
be of interest to you, but we will not disclose your customer identifiable information to
third parties who want to market products to you.
- SECURITY - TRANSMISSION AND STORAGE OF ORDER DATA INCLUDING CREDIT CARD INFORMATION:,When you place an order with us, your data is sent to us in an encrypted form using state of the art encryption techniques utilizing the highest encryption standards available. We do not store your credit card data on the internet server after your order has been processed. It is stored on our local computer which employs strict security measures.
- NEWSLETTER SUBSCRIPTIONS:Unless you opt-in to receive our newsletter, our only correspondence with you via email will be in regard to notifying you of your order status. Newsletter subscriptions are not automatic - the default is set to "do not send" when you sign up or place an order. Our double-opt-in sign up process makes it impossible for anyone to receive our newsletter without purposely requesting it.
When we send out newsletters, there will always be a link to quickly opt-out, which will be instantly recorded and honored.
